As a Speech-Language Pathologist in our Skilled Care Facility, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in our residents. Your work will contribute to their overall well-being, ensuring they can communicate effectively, maintain their independence, and enjoy an improved quality of life.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans and goals. Provide therapy and interventions to address speech and language difficulties. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care. Document and maintain accurate records of patient progress. Educate and support residents and their families regarding treatment plans and strategies.Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in OH. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but open to CFYs! Experience in a skilled care or long-term care setting is a plus.
