SPEECH/LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Our expanding network of independently owned and operated healthcare facilities is growing in Austin and we are scouting for a full time SLP and a PRN SLP to join our in-house therapy team at Park Manor Bee Cave . This postion services both in and outpatient care. Full-time 32-40 hours. Flexible scheduling; hours available every day of the week. Hourly rate range $41
  • 48 based on experience in SNF including LTC programming, time management skills, specific clinical skills, and ability to take on departmental responsibilities. PRN/Part-Time 8-25 hours. Flexible scheduling with weekend availability. Hourly rate rage $49
  • 55 based on expected weekly hours, experience in SNF setting with emphasis on excellent documentation and time management, and ability to collaborate effectively between disciplines and departments.

Duties:
Effectively screens and evaluates patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders to develop appropriate plans of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards. Provides rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with communication, cognitive and/or swallowing disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements. Evaluates treatment outcomes for effectiveness. Services are modified in relation to patient evaluation and referrals are made in relation to outcomes. Provides comprehensive discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements. Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to the speech disorders. Effectively communicates with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans. Documents all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system and maintains patient records according to company policy.
