We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
Assessment and Diagnosis :
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess children's speech, language, communication, and feeding skills, identifying specific disorders or delays.Individualized Treatment Planning :
Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on assessment results, individual goals, and the unique needs of each child.Therapeutic Intervention :
Provide direct therapy sessions to address various communication disorders, using evidence-based practices and engaging activities to motivate children.Progress Monitoring :
Regularly track and document each child's progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.Parent and Caregiver Education :
Involve parents and caregivers in the therapeutic process by educating them on strategies and techniques to support their child's communication development at home. Collaboration withOther Professionals :
Work closely with occupational therapists, physical therapists, educators, and other healthcare providers to create a holistic approach to each child's development.Maintaining Records :
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and administrative paperwork in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines. Participating inTeam Meetings :
Attend staff meetings, case conferences, and consultations to discuss treatment outcomes and collaborate on best practices.Professional Development :
Stay current with advancements in the field through continuing education, attending workshops, and engaging in professional organizations.Advocacy and Support :
Act as an advocate for children and their families, providing resources and referrals to additional services or support programs as necessary.What We Offer:
