Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact in a Special Education setting, supporting students' communication needs across a K-12 environment. A contract Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is open for the 2026-2027 school year, providing services onsite to a vibrant educational community near Bellevue, MI. With multiple positions available, candidates are thoughtfully matched to specific student populations based on their expertise.
Key Qualifications:
Hold an active Speech-Language Pathology license in Michigan (upload current license screenshot when applying) Possess Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Demonstrated experience delivering SLP services within a school environment Versatility and passion for working with diverse student populations from kindergarten through high school Strong collaboration skills to partner with educators and families Ability to provide assessment, diagnosis, therapy, and progress monitoring for students with speech/language needs
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language services to K-12 students in a Special Education setting, tailoring interventions to individual student needs Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate closely with teachers, case managers, and family members to promote student success Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements Participate in team meetings to support comprehensive student services This role offers up to 40 hours per week during the 2026-2027 academic year, spanning from August to June.
