Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Support young learners as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) on a part-time basis with a focus on early intervention for preschool-aged children. This opportunity centers around providing essential speech and language services as part of an Early Interventionist Team, working primarily with 3-4-year-olds. The position is onsite and offers an engaging, collaborative environment designed to help every child communicate with confidence.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Active Louisiana SLP license (required for consideration) Previous experience in early childhood or school-based settings highly valued Strong interpersonal and communication skills to partner with students, families, and team members Dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and developmentally appropriate learning atmosphere
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy in accordance with IEP goals for preschool students (ages 3-4) Collaborate with educators, families, and the Early Interventionist Team to deliver comprehensive support Conduct screenings, assessments, and progress monitoring to ensure individualized intervention strategies Maintain accurate documentation, data, and progress reports Consult regularly with caregivers and participate in team meetings related to early intervention services This role offers a steady weekday schedule of approximately 4 hours/day, 4 days/week, during the academic year from August 3, 2026, through May 21, 2027 (dates subject to change).
