Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract To Hire Step into a rewarding opportunity delivering Speech-Language Pathology services in a dynamic school environment near the scenic area of Lincolnville, ME. This contract-to-hire role follows the school year calendar, offering the chance to provide crucial in-person support over 183 workdays, with shifts of up to 8 hours daily. In this vital role, you will: Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Deliver targeted in-person interventions to support students' communication development Collect data and document progress in compliance with state and district guidelines Consult with teachers, families, and support staff to optimize speech-language outcomes Provide education and strategies for staff and families to reinforce skills in multiple settings Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development as required Ideal candidates will bring: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) State licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working in a school-based setting is highly valued Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Dedication to fostering student success and promoting inclusive learning environments Enjoy a role that offers the stability of a school schedule with the added potential for a permanent placement.
