Speech Language Pathologist in Cary, NC ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Cary, NC Job Details Full-time | Contract Qualifications Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) Master's degree Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Exciting opportunities are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about supporting students' communication and language development in an engaging school-based environment. Three contract positions are open for the upcoming academic year, running from August 24, 2026 to June 9, 2027. This is a full-time, on-site assignment located near Cary, NC. Whether you're an experienced SLP or a Clinical Fellow (CFY) looking for school-based experience, you'll find a supportive atmosphere ready to help you thrive—clinical supervision is available for those completing their CFY year.
Key Qualifications:
Active professional license in Speech-Language Pathology Valid educator certificate (or ability to obtain before the start date) Experience in a school setting is highly valued, but CFYs are welcomed with provided supervision Strong communication and collaborative skills Commitment to supporting diverse student needsRole Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy to students, fostering communication skills within educational settings Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain thorough documentation Work closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective student progress Adapt interventions to accommodate varying caseloads and age groups (details to be confirmed) Participate actively in IEP meetings, staff collaborations, and ongoing professional development This position offers a competitive hourly compensation, allowing you to make a positive impact in your field while enjoying the stability of a school-year contract.
