Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position working with 4th to 6th grade students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for the fall semester. This full-time opportunity begins in September 2026 and runs through November 2026, providing valuable services within a supportive school environment. Deliver meaningful impact on students' communication abilities and collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals for a holistic approach to student growth.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY)
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based settings
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Familiarity with IEP process and compliance
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Passion for working with upper elementary age groups
  • State licensure (or eligible) in
Michigan Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students' needs
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to 4th through 6th graders
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate, confidential records
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student achievement
  • Offer expertise on speech and language development, supporting the school community This role is designed for a Speech-Language Pathologist seeking a full-time schedule of 37.
