This full-time, onsite opportunity allows you to collaborate with a diverse community while supporting students' communication development in a vibrant school environment near Amherst, MA. Conduct screenings, assessments, and interventions that make a difference every day, helping students overcome language barriers and thrive both academically and socially.
What You Bring:
Active and unrestricted Massachusetts SLP license (please include a screenshot with your application) Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) Prior school-based SLP experience preferred Bilingual skills required to meet varied student needs Ability to pass all background, CORI, fingerprinting, and drug screening requirements Commitment to punctuality, professional communication, and timely case management Reliable transportation to ensure dependable onsite attendance
Your Responsibilities:
Provide bilingual speech-language therapy to students, developing tailored intervention plans Conduct screenings, assessments, and progress monitoring for students with speech and language concerns Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adhere to all state and district guidelines Integrate cultural and linguistic competence in all aspects of student care Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning as a valued resource Communicate proactively with school administrators, staff, and recruiters This contract role offers a forward-thinking approach to student support—for those ready to empower learners and celebrate bilingual diversity.
