Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' communication skills in a dynamic school environment as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. This opportunity is perfect for a dedicated professional skilled in evaluating and treating a range of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders within an educational setting. Ideal candidates bring experience working within schools, strong communication skills, and a collaborative spirit to work closely with teachers, staff, and families to help each student thrive. Desired Qualifications & Experience Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Previous experience in a school environment highly valued Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a diverse caseload Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and advocacy Key Responsibilities Conduct assessments to identify students' speech and language needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapeutic plans Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations Deliver direct and consultative SLP services to students in accordance with IEP goals Maintain clear and up-to-date records of assessment, treatment progress, and compliance Engage with teachers and families to support student progress and foster an inclusive learning environment Benefits & Perks Flexible contract scheduling to support a positive work-life balance Opportunity to work alongside experienced special education professionals Supportive school environment committed to student and staff success If you are passionate about helping students find their voice and reach their full communication potential, this could be the perfect fit for you.
