Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an educational setting near Denton, MD through a contract opportunity. Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but new graduates with CFY are welcome to apply Prior experience in school settings preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to work with a diverse student population and adapt approaches as needed
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Provide direct therapy services individually and in small groups to address articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support classroom strategies and carry over skills Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive school environment As a valued SLP professional, you will have the chance to use your expertise to enrich students' lives, collaborate with caring educators, and contribute to a supportive learning atmosphere.
