Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a long-term substitute Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in an educational setting near Norristown, PA. This full-time, contract role runs from August through December and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while working collaboratively with students and staff in a supportive environment.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Strong ability to connect with students of various backgrounds and abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy to students, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans Conduct assessments to identify student needs and track progress Work closely with educators, parents, and support staff to maximize student success and meet IEP goals Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and school policies Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and staff professional learning as required
