Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students by supporting communication and language development for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year! This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about educational settings and thrive in collaborative, student-centered environments. With several openings available, candidates can look forward to making an immediate impact while working within a supportive and innovative team.
Qualifications & Desired Background:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Active SLP licensure (or eligibility) in New York State Previous school-based SLP experience preferred Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to evolving caseloads and student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify students' speech, language, and communication strengths and needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Deliver targeted therapy sessions both individually and in group settings Provide consultation and support to teachers, families, and school staff Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as required
