Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Elevate your career as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) supporting students in an engaging school environment near Napoleonville, LA for the 2026-2027 academic year. This onsite role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact as you work closely with students, educators, and families throughout the school year. This position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, running from August 6, 2026, through May 25, 2027. You'll find a welcoming setting and opportunities to advance your skills while working alongside other educational professionals.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Active Louisiana SLP License Louisiana Teaching Certificate Previous experience in a school setting preferred Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to thrive in a collaborative, onsite-only environment
Key Responsibilities:
Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for eligible students Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development opportunities
