Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Elevate your impact in education by helping students reach their communication goals in a supportive middle school environment. Starting in August 2026, this contract position runs through May 2027 and is full-time, focusing on students' speech and language needs. Ideal candidates bring clinical expertise, a passion for serving diverse student populations, and the flexibility to adapt in a dynamic school setting. While bilingual skills are preferred, they are not required for this assignment.
Key Qualifications:
Holds a current SLP license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Previous experience supporting students in a school setting Ability to manage a full-time caseload at the middle school level Bilingual skills preferred (Spanish/English), but strong monolingual candidates considered Collaborative, communicative, and organized approach to supporting student progress
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech therapy services to middle school students Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and monitor student progress Provide support and consultation to educators and families Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to regulatory standards Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to ensure student success Adapt therapy to meet the individual needs of a diverse student body
