Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available in Nyssa, OR, supporting a busy school environment. This role involves assisting a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a caseload of over 60 students, providing both direct and indirect services.

Student Caseload:
Assisting with 60+ students Guaranteed Hours with pay for direct and indirect services No additional district responsibilities such as bus duty or parent pick-up Travel therapists are eligible to receive stipends
Responsibilities:
Support the SLP in delivering speech therapy services to students Assist with documentation and progress monitoring Implement therapy plans under the supervision of the SLP Follow all school policies and procedures related to student care
Qualifications:
Valid SLPA certification or licensure appropriate for the state of Oregon Experience working in a school setting preferred Ability to manage a high caseload effectively Strong communication and organizational skills
