Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in a school-based setting. This contract position offers you the opportunity to work full-time—37.5 hours each week—with a consistent schedule from August 13, 2026, through May 21, 2027. Ideal for professionals seeking meaningful direct and indirect service experience, this role ensures your focus remains on therapy-related responsibilities, with no assigned duties beyond your contracted hours.
Key Qualifications:
Valid SLPA licensure for school settings Experience providing speech-language therapy to children or school-aged populations Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, staff, and families Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
Support the planning and implementation of speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist Conduct both direct and indirect therapy sessions, maintaining accurate records and documentation Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to help students achieve individualized goals Provide dedicated services, without ancillary duties such as bus supervision or parent drop-off/pick-up responsibilities
