Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding career as a Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year! As an SLPA in a school setting, you will play a pivotal role in supporting both students and collaborating with a skilled team of professionals.
Key Qualifications:
Active SLPA licensure in the state of Arizona Prior experience working with children or in school settings preferred Sound understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders Ability to follow treatment plans and protocols set by supervising Speech Language Pathologists Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Adaptability to diverse student needs and learning styles
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students under the guidance of an SLP Conduct individual or group sessions per outlined therapy goals Assist in preparation of therapy materials and documentation of student progress Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student outcomes Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of student information Support in assessment and data collection as directed
