Category Nursing - ORT Job Type Travel Set against the beautiful backdrop of Humboldt, AZ, this travel nursing opportunity allows you to immerse yourself in a unique blend of small-town warmth and breathtaking desert vistas. This assignment in the surgery tech unit provides dynamic hands-on experience with a diverse range of cases, including total joints, general surgery, spine, and urology, allowing you to continually build your clinical knowledge. With a high volume of orthopedic, vascular, and general surgery cases, you'll gain valuable exposure to advanced procedures. The presence of dedicated specialty leads and a charge nurse ensures consistent professional support, while collaboration with other skilled scrub techs fosters teamwork and the sharing of best practices. Schedule/Hours:
Call required (details to be confirmed) Fast-paced unit with 20-30 cases per day
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Minimum 1 year full-time ORT experience Demonstrated proficiency with ortho, vascular, and general surgery Current BLS certification (ACLS required for RNs) Experience scrubbing required Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Support surgeries including ortho, vascular, urology, general, and spine cases Collaborate closely with surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures Assist with case preparation, equipment, and maintaining a sterile environment Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
