Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact in the 2026-2027 school year by supporting K-6 learners as part of a dedicated team of professionals. This contract opportunity offers a rewarding balance between meaningful student engagement and flexibility, ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist with their CCC who enjoys working in school settings. In this role, you'll work with a caseload of five students, delivering high-quality speech-language therapy services at two locations. You'll split your week between roughly a half-day supporting students at one school, and a full day at another elementary campus on Upper West Shore. The schedule runs from August 31st through June 3rd, providing a steady, focused rhythm throughout the academic year.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Previous experience working in a school environment (K-6 preferred) Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills Current state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility to obtain before start date
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to a small caseload of K-6 students Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Track student progress, maintain thorough clinical documentation, and participate in IEP meetings as necessary Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster student success Support communication development tailored to each student's needs at both designated school sites
