Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a fulfilling assignment as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students within a dynamic school setting near High Point, NC. This full-time contract opportunity spans from August 12, 2026, through June 11, 2027, offering you a chance to make a meaningful contribution throughout the entire school year. You'll be part of a dedicated team addressing the needs of students across the East and Southern sections of the district, with caseload flexibility to match your experience and interests. The district is seeking four passionate professionals, welcoming both experienced SLPs and clinical fellows (CFs). District supervision for CFs is available to support your professional growth. Please note, SLPA roles are not being considered for this contract.
Key Qualifications:
Active North Carolina SLP license required Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but SLP-CF welcomed School-based SLP experience strongly preferred Familiarity with Autism Spectrum Disorder (AU) and low cognitive disabilities highly desirable Strong communication and collaboration skills

Conduct assessments and provide therapy to a caseload of up to 35 students Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to student needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educators Document progress and maintain thorough, timely records Attend meetings and participate in professional development offered by the district
