Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an immediate impact this fall as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students in a dynamic elementary setting. This full-time contract role covers a maternity leave and is ideal for professionals eager to use their expertise within a collaborative school environment. You'll work closely with a caseload of 50-60 students, delivering high-quality, school-based SLP services alongside a dedicated educational team.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license for Louisiana Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required; CFs are encouraged to apply Experience providing school-based SLP services Strong communication and organizational abilities Commitment to evidence-based therapy and collaborative practice
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and evaluate students with a variety of speech and language needs Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and therapy plans Provide direct, onsite therapy to elementary-aged students Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers for effective student support Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and service delivery Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions Benefits of this
