Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist near Citrus Heights, CA. Your expertise will help young learners overcome communication challenges, making a direct impact on their academic and social development. In this role, you will: Assess students with a variety of speech and language disorders using standardized evaluation tools Design and implement individualized treatment plans driven by evidence-based practices Conduct engaging therapy sessions targeting each student's unique speech and language objectives Rigorously track and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed Work closely with other educators, therapists, and support staff in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment Involve and educate families, empowering them to support speech and language development at home Desired qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Active or eligible state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply Prefer prior experience in pediatrics or school-based settings Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
