Schedule/Hours:
Part-time, 13-week assignment 30 hours per week guaranteed Immediate start date available
Key Qualifications:
Valid and current Occupational Therapist (OT) license Previous experience in inpatient hospital or post-acute settings preferred Strong communication and documentation abilities Adaptability to different protocols and electronic health record systems Must demonstrate empathy, clinical expertise, and commitment to patient-centered care
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and implement occupational therapy treatment programs for patients recovering in a hospital environment Develop individualized treatment plans focusing on rehabilitation and optimizing functional outcomes Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families for effective continuum of care Monitor patient progress, maintain accurate documentation, and report outcomes Educate patients and caregivers to support optimal recovery and self-management
