Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' communication skills in a welcoming educational environment! This contract opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists with a drive to help children grow, learn, and reach their fullest potential.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP, or eligibility to obtain Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and evaluate students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs Provide direct therapy services to support student progress toward speech and language goals Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input on student progress and goal-setting Maintain thorough and up-to-date records in compliance with district and state guidelines Enjoy a rewarding role making a direct difference in children's lives, surrounded by a dedicated, supportive team.
