Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with PreK students on a part-time, contract basis. Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Valid SLP licensure with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Experience working in school settings, preferably with PreK or early elementary populations Familiarity with IEP processes and ability to document progress efficiently Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with staff and families Creative, engaging approach to therapy activities tailored for young children
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments for PreK students to identify individual needs Develop and implement targeted intervention plans aligned with IEP goals Provide direct therapy sessions—individual or group—in a school-based setting Maintain thorough records of student progress and session notes in compliance with school requirements Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to multidisciplinary teams Communicate with families, teachers, and administrators to ensure consistency in support
