Join the region's premier Neurosciences Institute at a regional referral center Collaborate with a strong , established multidisciplinary team , including: 6 Neurosurgeons (including a cerebrovascular/endovascular specialist) Neurohospitalists, neurologists, neuroradiology, neurointerventional neurology, and experienced APPs Advanced Practice Provider support with a team of dedicated APPs assisting in the office, OR, and hospital settings Fully integrated Epic electronic medical record across the health system Practice at a Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center Robust primary care referral network ensuring consistent patient volume and continuity of care Access the full resources of the UPMC health system

Position Highlights:

High-volume practice with ~80% spine / 20% cranial cases Broad case mix including neurotrauma, complex spine, brain tumors, and cerebrovascular disease Balanced schedule supporting career longevity and personal time Dedicated OR block time to support efficient, predictable scheduling Collaborative culture with involvement in conferences, quality initiatives, and teaching

Qualifications:

MD/DO from an accredited medical school Accredited Neurosurgery Residency Program completion Fellowship training is not required; however Accredited Spine Neurosurgery Fellowship completion is a plus Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials DEA certification What Can UPMC Do for You?
