Job Description
Header Job Summary Land of Medicine Buddha(LMB) is a Tibetan Buddhist teaching and retreat center rooted in the vision of Lama Yeshe, Lama Zopa and his holiness the Dalai Lama. This is the lead position that oversees planning, implementation, and day-to-day execution of LMB's spiritual programs. Join our vibrant community as the Spiritual Program Coordinator, where you will lead and inspire spiritual growth through organizing and supporting compassionate programs in the Buddhist tradition, providing meaningful support, and engaging in educational initiatives. In this dynamic role, you will develop and facilitate spiritual activities, rooted in Tibetan Buddhist traditions, that foster healing, hope, and connection for individuals facing life's challenges. Your leadership and exceptional communication skills will ensure clear, heartfelt engagement with diverse audiences and special teachers. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a profound impact by guiding spiritual journeys and nurturing a supportive environment for all. Responsibilities Design, organize, and implement a variety of spiritual programs, workshops, and events tailored to community ; Coordinate key support activities, including newsletters, social media, technical support for retreat management, using Zoom, Canva, Retreat Guru, WordPress, and other media and technology. Mentor volunteers and staff, fostering leadership development within the team. Plan and coordinate special events that promote community engagement and spiritual enrichment Strong communication skills with the ability to connect authentically with diverse audiences Proficiency in event planning and organization of large or small gatherings Leadership qualities that inspire trust, motivate teams, and foster collaborative efforts Writing skills for creating informative materials, reports, and program content If you possess a heart for service combined with strong organizational abilities and excellent communication skills, we invite you to join us in making a meaningful difference every day.
