Sr. Accounting Manager

Description A large, well-established organization in Hudson County, NJ is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join its growing finance team. This is a highly visible role with direct exposure to C-level leadership, offering the opportunity to drive process improvements, enhance reporting, and lead key accounting functions. A? Key Responsibilities + Oversee and manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) teams, ensuring accuracy and efficiency + Lead month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis + Drive financial reporting and support senior leadership with actionable insights + Optimize cash flow management, including forecasting cash and monitoring liquidity + Oversee and track capital expenditures (CapEx) + Develop and implement KPIs to improve operational and financial performance + Prepare and analyze AR aging reports and recommend collection strategies + Manage lease accounting in compliance with ASC 842 + Ensure strong internal controls and support audit processes + Partner cross-functionally and present financial insights to executive leadership l?
