 We are a truly global, fully networked company, with locations in more than 80 countries all over the worldJob DescriptionThe Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for carrying out the duties of the Engineering Department, including design, research, prototyping, engineering documentation, estimating and process improvement. The successful candidate will collaborate with design, laboratory technicians, purchasing, sales, manufacturing, and assembly teams on design projects.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasonsFully manage design projects, following through from inception to productionDevelop new productsSolve design problems; adapt, alter, and/or improve existing productsInterpret design specifications and translate into design of custom hydraulic manifold housings and develop detailed drawings for the productProduce and maintain design drawings via CAD using PTC CreoCollaborate with Testing, Purchasing and manufacturing teams on design projectsLead design reviews for specific projects involving various departmentsParticipate in cross-functional teams to address and resolve manufacturing, design and quality problems, and ensure the continuous, on-going improvement of processes and methodsWrite professional and technical reports after analyzing and interpreting data from various test sources to provide clear conclusions about the resultsDrive continuous efficiency and effectiveness in day-to-day activitiesUse documentation software including Q-Pulse and PDMLink (managing ECRs, ECNs & PECNs)Provide technical support and be a resource to other EngineersSupport the organization with sharing and implementing best practices across all locationsOther duties and responsibilities as assignedSupervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position has no supervisory responsibilitiesQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering or related fieldMin. 5 years' relevant work experience.

Additional InformationThe salary range for this position is $115,000 - $132,000.Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only. Future sponsorship for work authorization unavailable.
