As a Senior Diesel Technician, you won't just turn wrenches. You'll diagnose, repair, test, and maintain the equipment that keeps critical water operations moving across Minnesota. Your expertise keeps customers running, projects on track, and our fleet in top shape. This is a role for technicians who want responsibility, independence, and meaningful impact.

What You'll Be Doing
  • + Performing
  • routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and servicing
  • on Godwin fleet equipment + Troubleshooting diesel engines, electrical systems, and pump‑related issues + Rebuilding diesel engines and pump ends + Supporting customers and Xylem personnel during
  • pump system setup and start‑up
  • + Diagnosing and reporting equipment damage; testing repaired equipment for proper operation + Performing maintenance on company vehicles and shop support equipment + Running
  • computer‑based diagnostic checks
  • + Participating in weekly
  • on‑call rotation
  • to support after‑hours customer needs + Tackling additional duties, including participating in
  • Xylem Watermark volunteer activities
  • ? Where You'll Make an Impact
  • You'll work both in the shop and on customer sites across Minnesota — supporting real operations, solving real problems, and helping deliver reliable pumping solutions.
  • ✅ What We're Looking For
  • + •3-5 years•of diesel technician experience, or equivalent combination of training and hands‑on work + Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose both basic and complex issues + Experience troubleshooting diesel engines, pumps, and electrical systems + Valid driver's license with a clean driving record + Understanding of equipment repair methods, materials, tools, and safety practices + Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and manage time effectively + CDL Class B is a plus; Xylem provides •paid training•for CDL upgrades ?
