What does your day look like as an HVAC Service Technician? You will maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install ventilation and exhaust systems, air ducts with actuated dampers, remote AC equipment, and all other air tempering equipment. Maintain and repair hot water boilers, heat pumps of various tonnages, low-pressure steam boilers, forced hot and cool air systems, and other related equipment. Diagnose equipment malfunctions by auditory means and testing devices such as meters and probes. Listen and look for any abnormalities with the system, such as piston slap, oil leakage, and unusual or excessive vibration. Trace and troubleshoot control system wiring, connections, and ensure that all covers and panels are properly installed. Test for refrigerant leaks using a halide leak detector, a liquid soap solution, or other approved methods. Use oxyacetylene, propane torch for soldering and brazing pipe. Performs other duties as directed by your Supervisor. What will make you successful? Being trained by our awesome employees!
