Entergy Louisiana, LLC J ob Summary/Purpose Responsible for reliability, safety, compliance, and financial performance at assigned location. Job Duties/Responsibilities Drive strategic vision and direction of the organization. Foster the importance of a safety-oriented culture. Lead the team in establishing a Winning Culture by example, and coach, mentor and develop direct and indirect reports to exceed their individual and company goals. Meet system load requirements and monitor operations for efficiency and safety, ensuring that all applicable regulatory requirements are followed. Oversee, lead and direct plant staff, including operations, maintenance and engineering staff, and hire and train personnel. Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Act as a change agent for the plant with the daily initiative of improving morale and staff engagement. Lead plant efforts to ensure stakeholder expectations are met; foster and improve stakeholder communication, along with establishing and maintaining an inclusive environment. Be the voice of the plant for all departments, offering regular communication and updates. Minimum Requirements Minimum education required of the position Typically requires a college or university degree in related field or the equivalent work experience. Minimum experience required of the position 7+ years Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position Power plant operations & maintenance.
