This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting tenant billing and collections, assisting with month‑end close activities, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit requirements. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, collaborative, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced commercial real estate environment. Key Responsibilities Accounts Receivable & Tenant Billing Manage accounts receivable functions, including cash receipts, billing, and posting of monthly rent charges Maintain accurate tenant ledgers and perform regular tenant account reconciliations Prepare and review monthly billings, including CAM, operating expense billbacks, and other recoverable charges Calculate and bill annual recoveries in accordance with lease provisions Prepare for and participate in monthly delinquency meetings Cash Management & Bank Reconciliations Maintain daily check logs and process daily bank deposits Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies as needed Research and process tenant reconciliation disputes Ensure timely and accurate recording of all cash activity Process weekly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate cash reporting Audit & Close Support Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes Research and process tenant account audits Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required Accounting experience in commercial real estate preferred Skills & Competencies Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Experience with Yardi software strongly preferred High attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment Strong work ethic with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills Physical Requirements Ability to sit and work at a desk for extended periods performing accounting and administrative tasks Ability to use a computer, keyboard, and standard office equipment regularly Ability to attend in‑office meetings and collaborate with team members onsite We are an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
