PM Salary:

$75,000 - $90,000 per year (DOE) We are seeking a Director of Staff Development (DSD) LVN for a respected senior living community in Bakersfield, CA. This role is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing staff training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

Assess staff training needs and develop education programs Provide in-service training (OBRA, Title 22, and regulatory guidelines) Conduct new hire orientation and ongoing staff education Evaluate effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements Support clinical operations and assist with resident care as needed

Requirements:

Active California LVN/LPN license DSD certification (required) Minimum 2 years LVN experience or 1 year in a supervisory role Current CPR certification Strong communication, training, and organizational skills Skilled Nursing or senior care experience preferred
