Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care as a Staff Pharmacist during the night shift at a reputable healthcare facility. This role involves monitoring and evaluating medication therapy to ensure its safety and effectiveness, dispensing medications accurately, and supporting other pharmacy services in alignment with established policies and procedures.

Schedule:
7 nights on, 7 nights off Thursday night to Wednesday night 8:00 PM - 7:30
AM Responsibilities:
Review, interpret, and dispense medication orders accurately and efficiently. Monitor patient medication regimens for therapeutic appropriateness and safety, considering patient age and condition. Maintain compliance with departmental policies, quality improvement programs, and regulatory standards. Communicate medication information effectively with patients, families, healthcare providers, and staff. Participate in emergency drug therapy management and ensure adequate medication supplies are available. Oversee daily pharmacy technician activities to support departmental operations. Demonstrate commitment to organizational values including empathy, integrity, stewardship, agility, and teamwork. Uphold safety standards and contribute to a clean, safe work environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree from an accredited American College of Pharmacy. Valid and current Ohio Pharmacy License in good standing. Minimum one year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, medical staff, and colleagues.
