Stamped Concrete Laborer

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Stamped Concrete Laborer to join our masonry and concrete team. This role is essential to the successful installation of high-end decorative concrete projects. You will assist in the preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete, specifically focusing on the artistic application of stamps, textures, and colors. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities Site Preparation:

Assist in set-up including subgrade preparation, setting forms, and laying reinforcement (rebar or wire mesh).

Pouring & Spreading:

Help move and spread wet concrete using shovels and rakes; assist in leveling and "screeding" to ensure a flat surface.

Stamping & Texturing:

Work under the direction of the Lead Finisher to apply release agents and decorative stamps to wet concrete.

Detailing:

Perform wash-downs and detail work on joints; assist in applying sealants and decorative finishes once the concrete has cured.

Equipment Maintenance:

Ensure all tools (stamps, floats, mixers, and hand tools) are cleaned and properly stored at the end of each shift.

Safety & Cleanliness:

Maintain a clean job site and strictly adhere to all safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Qualifications Experience:

Previous experience in general construction or concrete labor preferred; specific experience with stamped or decorative concrete is a major plus.

Physical Ability:

Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs repeatedly and work on your feet, knees, and in various weather conditions for 8+ hours a day.

Reliability:

Strong work ethic and punctual attendance are non-negotiable.

Communication:

Ability to follow detailed verbal instructions in a fast-paced environment.

Transportation:

Must have reliable transportation to the shop in Hudson, MA, or directly to job sites.

$22.00 - $35.00 per hour
