Starbucks Sr Barista

We are seeking full-time experienced, energetic, and customer-focused Senior Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of coffee, leadership abilities, and the flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. The Senior Barista serves as a role model for customer service excellence, supports daily store operations, assists with training newer team members, and helps maintain a positive and fast-paced café environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming café experience Prepare high-quality beverages and food items according to company standards Assist with opening and closing procedures Support shift operations and help maintain workflow during peak business hours Train and mentor junior baristas and new hires Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system accurately Assist with inventory, stocking, and supply organization Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and teamwork

Qualifications:

Previous barista experience required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

Experience Requirements:

Minimum of 2-3 years of barista experience in a high-volume café or coffee shop environment Previous experience at Starbucks or a similar specialty coffee establishment preferred Experience operating espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and POS systems Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment Experience handling cash transactions and balancing registers accurately Ability to multitask while maintaining beverage quality and store cleanliness

Physical Demands:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time during scheduled shifts Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive hand and wrist movements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds as needed Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with continuous customer interaction Frequent use of espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other café equipment Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, steam, and varying noise levels Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation

Pay:

$18.00 - $18.50 per hour
