QUALIFICATIONS

A.S. degree with emphasis on Early Childhood Education or Childhood Development; Must possess or be eligible for an Early Childhood Education/Child Development Degree/Certificate AND two years teaching experience in a child care/preschool program. Must possess a current and valid California driver license. Must be certified in First Aid and CPR. Outside applicants must provide documentation of AA degree, transcripts showing 48 units from an accredited college or university or Certification of Passage of the Instructional Aide Assessment Exam (offered at Tulare County Office of Education).

Required vaccinations:

flu, whooping cough, measles and tuberculosis (TB) screening. Applicants selected for employment will be required to submit fingerprinting at their own expense.
