Responsibilities Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently to meet high standards of cleanliness. Assist with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients when needed. Support banquet and catering setups by ensuring all serving ware and equipment are clean and ready for use. Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen and dining areas by sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal to uphold health and safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes during busy service periods. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance across all tasks. Help with general cleaning duties including restocking supplies and organizing storage areas to promote an efficient workspace. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is key. Experience with bussing tables or supporting catering events is a plus. Familiarity with kitchen operations such as dishwashing, food handling, or basic food preparation will be advantageous. Prior hotel or banquet experience can be beneficial in understanding large-scale service needs. A background in culinary settings or hospitality roles demonstrates adaptability in fast-paced environments.
