Stocker / Cashier

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Stocker / Cashier, where you'll play a vital role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. This energetic position combines the fast-paced responsibilities of stocking shelves and maintaining product displays with the friendly, customer-focused duties of cashiering. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure our store remains organized, inviting, and ready to serve every customer with a smile. Whether assisting shoppers at the register or ensuring shelves are fully stocked and merchandised, you'll be an essential part of our vibrant retail environment. Duties Stock shelves efficiently by receiving, unpacking, and organizing products to ensure merchandise is available and visually appealing Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process transactions quickly and smoothly Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product locations or selections Handle cashier duties including cash handling, processing payments, issuing receipts, and balancing registers at the end of shifts Conduct product demos when applicable to showcase new or featured items and enhance customer engagement Maintain proper merchandising standards by arranging products attractively and restocking as needed Upsell relevant products or promotions to increase sales while ensuring customer satisfaction Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures Previous supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities within the team Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory management Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customers effectively Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries or customer service calls professionally Experience in merchandising, stocking, grocery store operations, or retail sales preferred Ability to demonstrate product features through demos and upselling techniques Basic math skills for cash register operations and inventory counts Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters positive shopping experiences Join us in creating a lively shopping environment where every customer feels valued!
