Duties Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring products are organized, labeled correctly, and replenished promptly to maintain an inviting store appearance Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including scanning items, processing payments, and issuing receipts Provide friendly and professional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and assisting with product locations or selections Conduct product demos when applicable to showcase features and benefits to customers, encouraging sales and upselling opportunities Handle cash transactions with precision, maintaining accurate cash handling procedures and balancing registers at shift end Assist in merchandising efforts by arranging displays to highlight promotions and new arrivals effectively Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the store by organizing stock areas and ensuring aisles are clear Skills Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers in a friendly, professional manner Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures for efficient checkout operations Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse customer base effectively Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities preferred for team coordination Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail sales environments beneficial Basic math skills necessary for cash register accuracy and inventory counting Ability to perform stocking duties efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely when needed Skills in upselling and product demos to enhance sales performance Familiarity with merchandising techniques to create attractive displays that boost sales Join us in delivering outstanding service while developing your retail expertise!
