ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Measure, cut, shape, and fit metal or other materials Assemble structural or mechanical components using hand and power tools Align and secure parts using bolts, clamps, welding, or fastening methods Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy and quality standards Operate shop equipment and machinery safely Perform repairs or modifications as needed

Experience in fitting, fabrication, construction, or mechanical assembly Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and technical drawings Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
