Structural Stress Engineer
Job Type:
Full-Time Consultant (12-Month Assignment)

Schedule:
Monday-Friday | First Shift | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Pay Rate:
$65.00 per hour This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license. Your Impact in This Role As a Structural Stress Engineer, you will play a key role in the integrity and reliability of aircraft components, assemblies, and systems. Working as part of an integrated engineering team, you will perform detailed structural analyses that directly support innovative design studies and mission-critical aerospace solutions. What You'll Do Perform structural analysis of aircraft components, assemblies, and systems. Develop finite element models and determine structural loads. Conduct static, fatigue, and vibration analyses using FEA tools and hand calculations. Evaluate structural load paths to ensure design efficiency and compliance. Collaborate cross-functionally with design and engineering teams to support product development. Contribute technical expertise to improve structural performance, safety, and manufacturability. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; OR Advanced degree in a related field with 3+ years of experience; OR In lieu of a degree, 9+ years of relevant experience. Experience in structural analysis, including classical hand calculations and finite element methods. Strong understanding of structural load paths. Hands-on experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software. Preferred Qualifications Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil, Structural Engineering, or related discipline. Experience with aircraft or space vehicle structures. General knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements. Experience with NASTRAN or equivalent analysis software. Pay Details:
