Job Description

Purpose of Position:
This position will be responsible for providing leadership, vision, and direction for the student ministries at Arlington Bible Fellowship Church with a focus on the teen ministries. This person will serve on the church board and aid in leading and promoting evangelism through the church and in the community.
Responsibilities:
Discipleship of teens and their families to have a closer walk with the Lord and each other, including but not limited to the following: Leading teen ministries on Sunday mornings, Sunday nights, and Wednesday nights Leading frequent teen events throughout the year (target monthly) Plan and lead one teen mission trip each year Oversee the Vacation Bible School (VBS) program Oversee the Know Your Bible (KYB) program Support College & Career ministry and events Recruit, train, and encourage volunteer leaders and teachers for student ministries Outreach to the surrounding communities to help grow the ministries of the church Pastoral Care focused on teens and families Support senior pastor to meet other needs of the church
Required Qualifications:
Highly self-motivated with proven organizational leadership and management skills Strong relational and team building skills Teaching and communication skills (written and oral formats) Clear Biblical philosophy of ministry to youth and families Theological agreement with Bible Fellowship Church doctrinal statement Character is in conformity with 1 Timothy 3:1-7
Preferred Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree or higher in ministry is preferred (with special consideration made for those with seminary education) If married, spouse should serve as a helpmeet to the ministry (Genesis 2:18) Experience in the leadership of student ministry

$35,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
