Position Overview Join us in the summer of 2026 and help us continue the legacy of fostering creativity, nurturing talent, and celebrating the individual artistic journey at Interlochen. We seek eager-to-learn and detail-oriented Substitute Music Librarian who embody our core values and are committed to nurturing young artists. The Fennell Music Library serves the music programs of Interlochen Arts Camp and Interlochen Arts Academy, and houses extensive collections including orchestral, band, choral, and chamber music, jazz, scores, and sound recordings. This position ensures that students, faculty, and staff can access music materials in a timely and efficient manner while supervising four full-time Music Reference Interns. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required. This position works closely with the Director of Libraries, Ensemble Librarians, Music Library Interns, and other library staff members to provide exemplary services to the ICA community.
