Job Description

Daily Substitutes Windham SAU #95 Windham, NH Substitute teachers are responsible for managing the classroom and the daily duties of the absent teacher. Substitute paraprofessionals assist and support special education students with educational activities and non-teaching tasks found in the Educational Plans of the Special Education integration teacher.
Requirements :
Qualifications:
To substitute as a paraprofessional; High school diploma required; associate's degree or higher preferred. To substitute as a teacher, a minimum of 30 college credits earned or 1 year of college completed, or equivalent experience.
Salary:
$110.00 per day (non-certified) / State of NH Certified teachers $135.00 per day (copy of current certificate must be presented to SAU) AV Technical Substitute Windham SAU #95 Windham, NH The Technical Substitute will work in conjunction with the Technical Director and building administration to execute duties relating to all shows and performances hosted at the Windham High School Auditorium. These duties consist of stage setup and breakdown for concerts and rental performances, theater lighting, sound design, and stage management.
Requirements:
Must have a technical certificate or have participated in school training for a minimum of 30 hours Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively with staff Working knowledge of the school's lighting and sound equipment Willingness to learn lighting, sound, and stage procedures Comfort with moving equipment Strong communication and problem-solving skills Reliability and punctuality for scheduled events Must be at least 18 years of age Must be approved by the district AV tech This position is not a steady hourly position and is used as needed. The assignment can range from a half day, 4 hours, to a full day, 8 hours, depending on the event. The position is paid at an hourly rate.
