Job Description:

This is a day camp leadership role. Candidates should have experience working with and leading children. Possess a willingness to learn and grow with our camp training environment. Incumbent will work alongside the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) Camp Director to provide a safe, educational and fun camp environment.

This includes organizing and motivating the children during their time at the YMCA and at off-site trips, and maintaining a safe and fun day camp environment. Must adhere to the Y's four core values at all times (caring, honesty, respect and responsibility).

LIFEGUARDS AND SWIM INSTRUCTORS

(AQUATICS)

Job Description:

We are looking for exceptional Lifeguards and swim instructors to maintain safe swimming conditions in the pool and on deck, as well as create a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and engagement in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures. Lifeguards must hold current certifications in American Red Cross Lifeguarding and CPR and First Aid (In NY Lifeguards required to recertify their CPR annually). Swim Instructors must have at least 2 years of experience teaching swim lessons.
