Meat Packer Summer job: IRP Meat & Seafood Co. is looking for a utility worker/packer to work in our Meat Department this summer. At IRP Meat & Seafood Co. you will never have to work weekends or holidays. This is the perfect job for students home on summer break! Duties Operate packing machines Lift up to 60 pounds Pack product into boxes Clean Work Station Scrub and clean machines Count and handle inventory and stock Work Conditions This position is based in our food manufacturing plant. Our utility workers/packers spend most of their day standing up and have to spend extended periods of time working in cold rooms where the temperature is below 40 degrees Fahrenheit. At times, this position may also be required to do some heavy lifting as part of this job.
