To Be Determined Job Description GCPS Technology Summer Internship Job Description The technology intern will aid the GCPS Technology team with computer set-up, repairs, and organization. The technology intern will help and assist our GCPS Tech team with day to day tasks dealing with school technology. Essential Functions Assist with computer repairs. Assist with computer set-up / installation. Assist with asset inventory Organize and maintain technology assets Assists with Computer Lab Deployment Other jobs as assigned by GCPS Technology Team

Ability to organize and keep records Ability to unbox, set-up, and install computer technology Ability to follow directions and work with a team Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently Ability to use Microsoft Office Some technology skills and interest in joining the field preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform basic computer set-up, installation, and organization. The individual needs to have basic spreadsheet and organizational skills. They must be able to effectively communicate with others, and be able to follow directions of tasks assigned. Must be at least 16 years of age and currently a student in grades 10 - 12 at Galax City Public Schools. Physical and Mental Demands, Work Hazards Works in standard office and school building environments.
